Tipp Mid-West Radio is celebrating after scooping up two awards at the CRAOL Achievement Awards.
The ceremony aims to recognise quality in production of community radio in Ireland and was held in October.

Our Cancer Information Series in collaboration with Circle of Friends, Irish Cancer Society and with the support of Tipperary Co-operative secured a Gold award in the Social Benefit Talk category.
The series ran during Autumn 2022 and Spring 2023 on Morning Call with Catherine Fogarty, with the 30 minutes episodes raising awareness and providing information on different cancers.
The structure of the series included a health care professional giving an overview of the cancer type and a cancer survivor sharing their experiences.
Catherine Fogarty says it was a lovely surprise to receive two awards in the post recently from CRAOL, the representative body for community radio stations.
Ms Fogarty says there were two benefits to the Cancer Information series, one was to highlight symptoms and urge people to get those checked and the other was to highlight the supports provided through the Circle of Friends in Tipperary Town.
